Chris GAMLIN

I am a full-time technical diving instructor and marine biologist from the United Kingdom, with over five years of professional experience teaching technical and rebreather diving.

As an instructor on both the Neptun CCR and other rebreathers, I have accumulated more than 1,500 hours on rebreathers and extensive experience teaching rebreather divers and conducting dives to depths up to 150 meters. Over the past four years, I have been based on Gili Trawangan, Indonesia.

From October 2026, I will be relocating to Gozo (Malta) to establish *Abyss Tech Gozo*, a dedicated technical diving center focused on CCR training and advanced technical diver education.

My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping divers progress. I believe the strongest divers are developed through understanding, confidence, and solid procedural foundations rather than simply meeting certification requirements. My goal is always to provide high-quality training that prepares divers not only to pass a course, but to continue developing safely and confidently long after certification.
